1. There’s a one-eyed crow who sees the world quite cleary.
There’s a crippeld doe who weawes a wandering tale.
There’s a one-eared owe who hears the whispering wisdom.
And the forest is put to shame.
There’s a field of green where bodies are decaying.
There’s a desert plain ablaze and full of life.
There’s a thundering sky yet peace inside my spirit.
And the questions start to rise.
R.: Is nothing then the way it seems?
Here on a moonlit night, I seen to lose my sight. And what I thought was right is just a memory. And as the night moveson. I’m looking for the dawn. When I can right this wrong; solve the mystery. I’ve been longing for reality.
I’ve heard a million answers.
And not a single one that statisfies.
2. There’s the sweetest cream that flood the mind with poison.
There’s the simple geain that fills the veins with life.
There’s the fruit of pain that promised us such wisdom.
But is made us the fools we are.
There’s a fleeting hope that leads to desperation.
There’s the narrow road that pauses the future wide.
There’s the sudder death that leads to life.
And the loser takes the prize.
R.: Is nothing then the way it seems?
Here on a moonlit night, I seen to lose my sight. And what I knew was right is memory. And as the night moves on I’m looking for the dawn. When I can right this wrong; solve the mystery. I’ve been wanderingin darkness, searching and finding that I don’t know a thing. I’ve been longing for reality.
I’ve heard a million answers.
Could there be one that statisfiels.
